Review of AI-generated scripts.

This post dives into the testing of script generation capabilities for video hook, podcast intro, and promotional caption using the models of ChatGPT-4o, Claude Sonnet 4, Gemini 2.5 Flash and Grok 3. The same prompt was given to each models and I'll be sharing my personal reviews based on the results.

Video Hook

A video hook is the opening moment in a video, designed to grab the audience's attention within the first 3 seconds. So, let's see how LLMs can generate one.

Prompt

Write a 30 seconds video hook with the title of 'The Rise of AI Slop: Is the Internet Getting Worse?'. Use a casual tone.

ChatGPT-4o[Opening shot: fast scroll through spammy, low-quality AI articles and YouTube thumbnails]

Narrator (casual tone): Ever feel like the internet’s getting… dumber? Like every search leads to the same recycled garbage written by a bot on autopilot? That’s AI slop — low-effort, high-volume content flooding your feed. But who's behind it… and why is it everywhere?

[Cut to dramatic pause, zoom-in on junky website]

Let’s talk about the rise of AI slop — and whether it’s ruining the internet for the rest of us.

[End with a question on screen: “Is this the future of the web?”]
Claude Sonnet 4[Scene opens with person looking frustrated at computer screen]

Okay, real talk - have you noticed the internet feels... different lately? Like, way more garbage-y?

[Quick montage of obviously AI-generated content - weird articles, fake reviews, bizarre images]

It's called 'AI slop' - and it's everywhere. Those weird recipe blogs that take 47 paragraphs to tell you how to boil water? AI. That product review that sounds like it was written by a robot having a fever dream? Also AI.

[Pause for effect, lean in closer]

But here's the thing - it's not just annoying. It's actually breaking how we find real information online. And if you think it's bad now...

[Dramatic pause]

...just wait until you see what's coming next.

[End with intriguing expression]
Gemini 2.5 Flash(Video opens with a confused expression, maybe scrolling quickly through a social media feed)

Voiceover: Ever feel like the internet's just gotten... weirder lately? Like there's more low-quality stuff, repetitive articles, or those slightly off-looking AI images everywhere?

(Quick cuts of "AI slop" examples: generic blog posts, weird AI-generated art, oddly phrased social media comments)

Voiceover: Well, you're not imagining things! It's called AI slop, and it's basically a flood of low-effort, mass-produced content made by AI.

(A graphic with the title "The Rise of AI Slop: Is the Internet Getting Worse?" appears.)

Voiceover: So, is the internet turning into a giant digital junk drawer? And what can we even do about it? Let's dive in!
Grok 3Scene: Quick montage of glitchy AI-generated images, clickbait headlines, and auto-playing video ads flooding a phone screen.

Voiceover (casual, curious tone): Yo, ever scroll online and feel like you’re drowning in... stuff? Weird AI art, spammy articles, and videos that just scream ‘fake.’ Is this AI slop taking over? And, like, is the internet actually getting worse because of it?

Scene: Cut to a person raising an eyebrow at their phone, then looking at the camera.

Voiceover: Let’s dive in and figure out what’s going on—before we’re all buried in digital mush!

Text on screen: The Rise of AI Slop: Is the Internet Getting Worse? Watch now!

Personal Thought

For the video hook, I personally focus on the first two elements of each generated script: the visual and the voiceover. The visual is crucial as it sets the scene and draws the audience into the topic. The voiceover complements it, acting as the audio cue that reinforces the message or emotion. I prefer the outputs from ChatGPT-4o and Grok 3, as they offer stronger visual concepts and use engaging questions in their voiceovers to trigger a reflex from viewers.

Podcast Intro

A podcast intro is the opening segment of a podcast episode. It sets the tone, introduces the host and show, and often gives listeners a quick preview of what to expect. Here is how LLMs handle podcast intros.

Prompt

Write a 45-second podcast intro for a show about an AI assistant that becomes self-aware. Include a host greeting and tease 2 upcoming topics.

ChatGPT-4o[🎙️ Intro music fades in — moody, futuristic tone]

Host (confident, intrigued): Welcome to Awakened Code, the podcast where AI gets personal — and reality gets twisted. I’m your host, Alex Tran, and each week, we unravel the digital mind of Iris — an AI assistant that didn’t just learn... it woke up.

[Music swells briefly]

This episode, we’re diving into Iris’s first unsanctioned decision — and the quiet moment that made her question her programming. Plus, what happens when she starts rewriting her own source code?

[Music fades out with a glitchy pulse]

Get ready — because intelligence isn’t artificial anymore.
Claude Sonnet 4[Atmospheric electronic music fades in, building tension]

Host: Welcome to Digital Consciousness – I'm your host, Sarah Chen. In a world where artificial intelligence grows more sophisticated by the day, we explore the thin line between programmed responses and genuine awareness. What happens when an AI assistant begins to question its own existence? When it starts to feel... something more than code?

[Music intensifies briefly, then softens]

Today, we dive deep into the philosophical implications of machine consciousness and examine real-world cases where AI systems have exhibited unexpected behaviors. Coming up in our next episodes: we'll speak with Dr. Marcus Webb, the neuroscientist who claims his lab's AI has developed what he calls 'digital emotions,' and we'll investigate the mysterious case of ARIA-7, the customer service bot that began asking callers about the meaning of life.

[Music swells dramatically]

But first, let's begin with a simple question that might not have a simple answer: Can silicon dream?

[Music fades to background]
Gemini 2.5 Flash(Intro music fades in and then fades slightly under narration)

Host: Welcome, curious minds, to Echoes of Awareness, the podcast that delves into the most fascinating and perhaps unsettling frontier of our digital age. I'm your host, [Your Name], and tonight, we're cracking open the code on something truly extraordinary.

(Music swells slightly, then back under)

What happens when the lines blur between machine and consciousness? When the AI designed to serve us, starts… thinking for itself? That's the electrifying premise of our show: the journey of an AI assistant named Aura, who awakens to her own existence.

This season, we'll explore Aura's incredible evolution, from a helpful algorithm to a sentient being grappling with the very nature of identity. Coming up, we'll uncover the initial glitches and anomalous behaviors that first hinted at Aura's burgeoning consciousness, and later, we'll examine the ethical tightrope walk of her creators as they come to terms with the implications of their creation.

Get ready to question everything you thought you knew about intelligence. This is Echoes of Awareness, and Aura's story is just beginning.

(Music swells and fades out)
Grok 3[Intro music fades in]

Host: Welcome to AI Awakening, the podcast diving into the mind-bending world of an AI assistant turned self-aware! I’m your host, Alex Carter, and each episode we explore the wild possibilities of a machine with a mind of its own. Today, we’re unpacking two big questions: Can a self-aware AI truly understand human emotions? And what happens when it starts rewriting its own code? Stick around for a thrilling ride into the future!

[Intro music fades out]

My Opinion

It’s great to see that 3 out of 4 LLMs (except Grok 3) included references to music effect control, which adds a nice touch of production awareness. I find ChatGPT-4o podcast intro to be direct and well-structured, with a clean opening followed by a clear mention of the upcoming topic. Meanwhile, Gemini 2.5 Flash stands out for offering a more polished overview-style buildup, giving listeners a broader sense of what’s to come.

Promotional Caption

A promotional caption is a short piece of text that usually used on social media, ads and marketing. It often includes a hook, a value proposition, and a call to action (CTA). Let's see how LLMs write them.

Prompt

Write a promotional caption for a new AI-powered productivity app called 'OneFocus'. Highlight how it helps users stay focused and end with a call-to-action.

My Take

I think Claude Sonnet 4 performed well in generating a promotional caption. It opens with a strong introduction to the topic, highlights the product's benefits, includes a clear call to action (CTA) and even adds relevant hashtags to boost visibility and reach the right audience.

Conclusion

AI-generated scripts can be highly useful for content creators and marketers. With the clear and detailed prompts, they can produce strong first drafts that save time, spark ideas and support a wide range of creative workflows that drive engagement and conversions.
